According to a recent survey by ComPsych Corporation,Â a leading provider of employee assistance programs (EAP), which asked employees the simple question: How does stress impact your work? and provided multiple answers, the following were the results:
56.3% said â€œdifficulty focusing on tasksâ€
21.0% said â€œerrors and/or missed deadlinesâ€
15.5% said â€œtrouble getting along with coworkers/superiorsâ€
14.9% said â€œmissed daysâ€
14.4% said â€œlatenessâ€
28.1% said â€œotherâ€
Organizations looking to compete in a volatile marketplace should be proactively addressing stress, thus can enhancing employee well-being and therefore engagement.
